Recovery

It is an attempt to recreate the daily lifesound of historical images belonging to the Palestinian city of Jaffa, to inject life into the still and archived body of images, as a cinematic experience to restore memory and to refresh the relationship with place, time, and event. through an individual spoken memory of a character who have personal experience on the land of the story, we travel through the images of the city in which My grandfather and my father lived and born there before they were displaced in 1948 to a Palestinian refugee camp, where I was born.

إنها محاولة لإعادة  صوت الحياة اليومية لصور تاريخية تابعة لمدينة يافا الفلسطينية ، لضخ حياه في جسد الصور الساكن و المؤرشف، كتجربة سينمائية لإستعادة الذاكرة ولتحديث العلاقة مع المكان والزمان والحدث ، وعبر الذاكرة الفردية المحكية لشخصية كان لها معايشة على أرض الحكاية، نتجول عبر الصوت و الصور في المدينة التي ولد وعاش فيها جدي ووالدي قبل أن يهجروا منها عام ١٩٤٨ إلى مخيم للاجئين الفلسطينيين حيث ولدت
